The successful applicant will conduct basic laboratory studies pertaining to the regulation of RNA turnover, its role in the regulation of signal transduction and its outcome for tumor development. More specifically the applicant will conduct studies on the development of novel therapy aiming to disrupt critical RNA-protein interactions for patients with neuroblastoma and other malignancies. The applicant will be expected to be well organized, experienced in working in a multidisciplinary team, and have good writing skills. The successful applicant will be expected to author publications and any other assignments that Dr. Spiegelman, as the principal investigator, may request.
