JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Dr. Eshani Lee, Penn state Hazleton Chemistry Professor, is searching for research assistants to support a National Science Foundation funded project examining how to equitably assess students in chemistry. Responsibilities will include administrative duties related to managing the grant including team meetings, coding of interview data, analysis of document research, and reviewing literature.
The successful candidates:
Must have demonstrated coursework in chemistry and/or education.
Must be able to work in a team, have problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Must complete Penn State Citi training to work with data involving human subjects.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to publish in peer reviewed journals and present their research at local and national conferences with all travel expenses paid.
The position will work approximately 10-20 hours per week.
