Based at our Head Office in Mount Waverly and reporting directly to the Technical Team Lead, the incumbent will be expected to design, write, test and maintain computer programs according to systems or application specifications. They will review and assist in developing coding standards when necessary and provide technical consultation and training to IT associates and users.

THE ROLE:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– A solid understanding of business processes and demonstrated business analysis skills

– Analyse and make modifications to and maintenance of programs and procedures

– Assist in training of other associates as required

– Assist with testing and bug fixing

– Ensure all tasks are completed according to schedule and meet the necessary standards

– Preparation of documents detailing the design, operations, troubleshooting and maintenance of applications

– Provide technical support to clients and other associates

– Report accurate updates on task status and key performance metric data.

– Undertake programming tasks entailing the design, coding, testing and documentation of applications, database software, etc.

– Undertake the programming tasks that provide structured framework for Pentana Solutions applications.

WHO YOU ARE:

Professional:

· 5 years of experience in Designing, Developing and Implementing client/server applications, web development, API, Web Services, Object Oriented Programming in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Microsoft .NET Framework or .Net Core, VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET MVC.

· Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

· Experience in Creating Unit Testing applications and Unit Testing.

· Having exposure to common reporting tools such as: Crystal Reports, etc.

· Proficiency with database concepts designs and query languages (SQL & T-SQL), writing stored procedures and function, good understanding of database transaction.

· Understanding version control system (GIT / TFS).

Personal:

· A background in the automotive industry is highly desirable.

· Ability to work autonomously on projects through to delivery.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
