PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Network Support Specialist to supportour Peterson AFB, CO location.The candidate will support GEOINT production and exploration activities fornew GEOINT technologies and capabilities. Integrate communications andinformation technology solutions to new or evolving GEOINT developments asrequired.Duties Include:Support management of Army JWICS Data Center operations and associatednetworks by loading new versions of software; integrating systems;executing software modifications; hardware setup and installation;networking systemsTechnical support in the installation of hardware upgradesSupport issues such as sufficient launch capability for system deployment andassured access to GEOINT systemsManage and coordinate the utilization of imagery-related communications linksPrepare & maintain an Integration Management PlanPrepare/maintain interface control drawingsMaintain and upgrade garrison and deployable GEOINT processing andcommunications systems with the newest information technologies available tothe DivisionSupport training requirements for Division personnel in these new GEOINTrelated information technologiesRequired Skills/Experience:CompTIA Security+Strong Networking and Configuration SkillsStrong team player able to thrive in a fast-moving environment with excellentattention to detailTravel: NoneMust be a U.S. CitizenAn active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to performthis work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance withSCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level ofclearance during their employment.Education Requirements:At a minimum should have at least 8 years of relevant work experience and abachelors degree from an accredited college or university or 11 years ofrelevant work experience.Desired Skills:Bachelor’s DegreeCCNA, MCITP, CompTIA Network+ -Familiarity with Imagery Exploitation Software tools (i.e. SocetGXP,ESRI, ERDAS)Familiarity with Large Data Storage SystemsKnowledge of Routers, Switches and FirewallsPeople First.
