The Operations division provides an extensive range of support services to both customers and other divisions of permanent tsb. The guiding principles of the Operations Division are based around service quality, operational excellence, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
The successful applicant will report to the Manager of the Payment Operations Department to provide high quality service and support to ensure delivery of the payment related business objectives. The role will be flexible in that you will be expected to assist in the delivery of multiple functions and projects within the department as well as lead and manage the Payments Operations team
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the daily operations of both the Payments and FX Operations teams.
Responsible for all foreign exchange processes including reconciliation, settlement, transaction processing in accordance with PSD requirements.
Responsible for Central Bank settlement under tight deadlines for both paper through the exchange and electronic through EBA and TARGET2
Responsible for ensuring BPFI and CBI reporting is submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of the bank¿s Products along with associated processes and systems (e.g. Hogan, Unibanks).
Strong people management skills with a focus on managing and motivating a team in a challenging environment with strong operational planning skills to motivate the team to deliver agreed SLA¿s.
Solid time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise and maintain a steadfast focus on driving towards a positive outcome.
Broad knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the bank operates.
This is a Permanent role based in Permanent TSB’s Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14.
