As Data Protection Specialist (Administration) you will be required to manage and provide administrative support to the Data Protection Team who advise the Bank on Data Protection obligations. This includes managing and following up on data breaches, documenting and following up on data protection impact assessments and data protection queries from business units and customers. You will report to the Data Protection Manager within the Regulatory Compliance function
Responsibilities:
Manage the Data Security Breach Reporting process, including logging, analysing and reporting to the Data Protection Commission Manage the 2 Team mailboxes and respond to and/or escalate Data Protection internal queries or external queries from Data Subjects/Data Protection Commission(DPC)
Collate Data Protection MI to facilitate DPO oversight and reports to relevant Committees
Assist in the delivery of on-going GDPR/Protection awareness, the development of bulletins to issue to all staff
Champion and embed our values based culture by living our PTSB values and behaviours every day in your interactions with team members, colleagues across the Bank and external partners.
Support all administrative activities within the Data Protection team and other relevant ad-hoc activities within the Compliance function
Requirements:
Have relevant administration experience in a Data Protection Compliance role with experience in data breach management and engagement with the Data Protection Commission.
Relevant management experience.
An ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment and excellent administrative skills are required.
Good influencing and communications skills and the confidence to deal with management at all levels.
Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure to meet regulatory deadlines
Analytical skills ¿ capable of evaluating information and providing clear interpretation to team members and management
Highly motivated and a self-starter with an ability to work on own initiative
This is a Permanent role based in Permanent TSB’s St Stephens Green/Hybrid
