Pet Supplies Plus Hiring for Associate Visual Merchandiser at Livonia (Headquarters) Full Time

The Visual Merchandiser will report is directly responsible for creating product planograms as well as conducting pre and post analysis for each planogram/store assignment to ensure it meets the benchmarking criteria. This position is located in our Livonia, MI headquarters and offers a hybrid in-office and work from home environment.

Associate Visual Merchandiser key responsibilities include:

• Design and execute all facets of planograms that implement the company’s strategies

• Follow and maintain space planning guidelines, from product placement to creating a presentation that shows off the product and enhances the customer experience while delivering sales and optimizing space

• Analyze and measure success using sales and space productivity metrics to identify opportunities for further improvement of store layouts and planograms

• Support and maintain two-way communications with the field and office regarding planogram effectiveness and opportunities. Use feedback to alter strategies as identified

• Maintain space planning systems and the integrity of the data warehouse, system operations, file systems and processes, and provides source / library control of planograms under their responsibility

• Other duties as assigned

The PAWsome Associate Visual Merchandiser will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

• Minimum 4 years-experience in visual and planogram discipline within retail or related field

• 2+ years-experience using industry accepted space planning software (Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), Apollo, or other); certification desired

• Superior verbal and written communication skills enabling presentation of complex ideas in a clear manner

• Solid project management skills including timing and action planning, management against key milestones and scope creep

• Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze large amounts of information to drive actionable and relevant insights

• Capable of managing multiple complex projects and trouble shoot to deliver results

• Demonstrates strong problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

• Displays a strong detail-oriented approach to work

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Powerpoint, Word, Excel
