Position Responsibilities:

• Enjoy working hands on, on site in a team environment.
• Enjoy carpentry tasks with a growth mindset in order to advance skills.
• Capable of assisting in offloading trucks to receive materials.
• Learn to assemble and install required equipment and materials.
• Communicate team members and project personnel to ensure the success of the project.
• Demonstrate cooperation and understanding in the importance of health, safety and environmental protection following the requirements of the company Health and Safety Policy as well as all requirements of OH&S.

Skills and Professional Values:

• Have the technical ability to use basic electronic tools (cell phone, tablet, etc.) to effectively communicate with the other team members.
• Have the ability and willingness to work day or night shifts as needed. Project duration varies from 1 day to a few weeks and includes some weekends.
• Have the ability and willingness to travel. We service clients across Western Canada. (Travel possibility of up to 50% of work outside of the Greater Edmonton Area in any given year).
• Ability to make decisions based on team goals and implemented processes.
• Maintain effective time management and organisational skills.
• Invested in personal growth and opportunities within the company and in relation to knowledge and training associated with the construction industry.

Experience:

• Have a clean driver’s abstract and valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Have use of a personal vehicle for transport to site and out of town.
• Demonstrate knowledge, experience and safe work practices around basic carpentry tools (hand drill, screw gun, mitre saw, table saw, circular saw, etc.)

Education:

• Formal Education not required.

• Position – Full Time Hourly
• Location – Head office is in Edmonton, applicant must have the ability to travel.
