We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough for a sessional training Assessor/Tutor to become a key member of our Curriculum Team.
As an Assessor/Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of your learners; You will manage your own diary, support work-based learners, deliver workshops, undertake classroom teaching, and assess in the workplace to inspire and you will support your learners on their personal journeys to success. You will need to be an experienced, self-motivated, and confident Assessor/Tutor with the ability to adapt and you will be competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
As part of your role as Assessor/Tutor, you will contribute to the continued development of the department delivering courses from Level 2 to 5 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Residential Childcare and Education and Training, you will need to support the administrator with the application process for your courses and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position. The successful candidate will need to be ideally qualified to DTLLs level and have experience of assessing.
