Petersen Industries, Inc Hiring for Painter Helper at Lake Wales, FL Full Time

• To assist the Paint Department for equipment preparation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with a team
• Adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines and production demands
• Maintain shop safety standards
• Maintain good housekeeping stanards in designated work area
• Equipment preparation for industrial painting including but not limited to sanding, taping and paper masking
• Cleaning and following 5S Rules in the Paint Room
• Washing equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in sandblasting preferred
• Experience in industrial painting preferred

Working Conditions

• Monday – Friday 8-10 hour shifts
• Occasional weekend work
• Day shift and Night shift
• Outdoor garage work areas

Physical Requirements * Ability to stand for 8 – 10 hour shift or longer as needed for overtime projects

• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
