Veterinary Receptionist Job Description:

A PetWow veterinary receptionist is often the first persons a pet owner encounters, whether on the phone or in the lobby; so the first impression a pet owner has about our organization crucially depends upon how they are treated by our customer service team! If you love pets and people, all you need to join our team are good customer service skills!

Duties of a Veterinary Receptionist:

• Greeting customers and their pets
• Answering phones in our call center
• Responding to emails
• Processing transactions
• and more.

Requirements

Come join our team! Our ideal Veterinary Receptionist combines an excellent attitude with excellent communication, technology, and sales skills; and, of course, a deep love for animals. While we will train, priority will be given to those who have prior experience as a customer service representative or receptionist in a service industry of some kind.

Occasional Multi-Location Assistance:

PetWow has multiple locations within the Greater-Cincinnati / Northern-Kentucky area. While team members are almost always scheduled at the location for which they applied; on rare occasion, team members will be asked to temporarily help out at a different PetWow location for one of the following reasons:

• To cover a shift for an absent team member at another location (usually a single day)
• To cover during a vacation taken by a team member at another location (usually no longer than a week)
• To temporarily cover a role at another location while a permanent replacement for that role is recruited, hired, and trained (usually no more than 60-90 days)
