The Ringaskiddy API site has over 600 colleagues working on the site and is a key manufacturing facility in the Pfizer Global Supply Network specializing in New Product Introduction and bulk manufacturing of a wide range of Pfizer’s patented and non-patented products.

We are currently looking to fill a number of F ull-Time Permanent Pharmaceutical Operation within our cross-functional organisation, that is focused on delivering creative life-enhancing medicines to all our patients.

The successful candidates will have a positive attitude, be decisive, flexible, an inclusive team player and take pride in their work . They should have a high level of initiative and motivation that helps bring ideas and creativity to the workplace . The role requires flexibility with regards shift work and willingness to continue leaning and evolving with the business.

In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for operating the production equipment and utilities, either on days or shift, following Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) process operating conditions and the sites safety and quality excellence culture.

Core Responsibilities

  • Undertaking of all process operating instructions in a team environment per the sites GMP, quality and safety standards.
  • Adherence to GMP documentation practices and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participating and proactively engaged with our process centric teams.
  • Engagement and active participation in continuous improvement projects/teams striving for excellence.

Required Education

  • Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) and Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Trade qualification or equivalent is essential.

Desired Experience (but not Essential):

  • Experience of working in a highly regulated GMP industry (or similar) or completed (or undertaking) a qualification in a pharma/biopharma processing.
  • Candidates that demonstrate a keen sense of focus and attention to detail will have a distinct advantage.
  • Must be conscientious and possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
