PGK Services Hiring for Kitter AND Material Handler at Clinton Township, MI Full Time

Overview:
The Materials Kitter is a member of the warehouse management team. He/she performs a safe and efficient operation within warehouse. Activities include parts moving and re-stocking, internal warehouse movement, and other activities as required by their supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
— Transfer material from defined locations using a forklift and a handheld computer (scanner) to production lines
— Manage inventory by moving, splitting, and merging containers in handheld computer (scanner)
— Consult Inventory in Materials Management System to ensure FIFO (First-in-First-Out) order
— Comply with all safety and health regulations

Requirements & Qualifications:
— High school diploma or equivalent qualification
— 1+ years’ experience in a similar role, using a handheld computer
— Physical fitness with the ability to lift a maximum of 60 pounds, occasionally
— Availability to work overtime including occasional weekends, public holidays, and evenings
— Good organizational and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
