We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Global Communications. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the company’s global presence and reinforce its position as a leader in the import and export industry.

Mexico City, Mexico

• Develop and implement a global communication strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to define key messages, positioning, and brand identity in the international market.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international media outlets.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, addressing media inquiries and proactively seeking opportunities for positive coverage.
• Create compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media, to showcase the company’s achievements and thought leadership.
• Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols to respond effectively to any unforeseen events that may impact the company’s reputation.
• Provide guidance and support during crisis situations.
• Oversee the planning and execution of key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company’s visibility and network with potential partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and partners, to enhance the company’s influence and competitiveness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform communication strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in global communications within the import and export industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong media relations experience and a track record of securing positive coverage.
• Crisis communication expertise and the ability to navigate challenging situations with composure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align communication efforts with business goals.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
