PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. for the Smoke-Free Products at electronic hub (eHUB). You are responsible to identify and execute with external partners an integrated portfolio of innovation initiatives to deliver new proof of concept propositions in area of priorities defined jointly with consumer • Define priority areas with key stakeholders • Apply cross-functional innovation methodologies to identify and scope new opportunity in a defined technology space • Identify and establish a portfolio of external innovation initiative and partnerships and drive them to proof of concept • Build business cases and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the establishment of partnering framework • Actively manage external partnership including frequent visits or/and prolonged onsite assignments in consultation with internal and external SME • Build a network of senior experts and partners in the area of focus, foster exchanges among them • Contribute to build knowledge management maps and generate new innovation leads in the area of specialty • Act as technical support in cross- functional tech transfer projects to ensure integration of technology into the PMI portfolio of calendar initiatives Who we’re looking for • Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Degree • Significant experience (10+ years) in driving science-based innovation • Experience in startup environment would be a plus • Eagerness to translate innovation into commercial products • A collaborative mindset is a must • Ability to deal with ambiguities • An entrepreneurial, autonomous, positive fast-learner • Highly creative while keeping pragmatism • Passionate about electronic technologies What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
