What are we looking for?
We have a great opportunity for an individual who would like to work in a fully equipped shop and work on unique projects that involves designing, building, and installing high end custom cabinetry for a long-lasting functional and luxury experience in our clients’ spaces.
Reporting to the Production Manager, Production Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of routine to moderate complex administrative support tasks, including receiving production relation information and entering related data into the system. The individual will also provide administrative support to production employees as needed. The key characteristics of the ideal candidate will be an individual who knows and works with Intermediate Level Excel, is driven to excellence and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. They must be detail-oriented with good analytical skills and be able to work independently when needed.
Some key expectations for the successful candidates are to:
· Assist with production planning and maintenance of scheduling.
· Cover for Production Manager on their absence.
· Monitor production planning and keep a check on quality, process and timelines.
· Review timesheets and punch cards.
· Review technical drawings and filling out material breakout sheets then providing for costing.
· Prepare reports and enter details into computer.
· Ensure proper Health and Safety regulations and company policies are respected.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
· High School Diploma.
· 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing capacity.
· 2+ years’ experience in the millwork/exhibit field or construction industry.
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to read construction drawings.
· Good Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent organizational skills, good time and deadline management.
· Available to work early mornings/ long days as needed.
· Demonstrates good judgment in examining and resolving problems and respects the confidentiality of company business and customers.
· Maintains positive work relationship with co-workers and is a good team member.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions either in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule format.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and email correspondence.

· Ability to lift 15 lbs
