How to be Successful in the Role: An employee in this position will be successful by consistently expanding their knowledge about Assessor-Treasurer business processes, and obtaining a good working knowledge of the County’s role in the community. It is expected the employee will immediately learn Pierce County and Assessor- Treasurer policies and procedures, and begin training in various software needed to adequately provide comprehensive public service.
Your Future in this Role: There is great benefit to beginning a Pierce County career in a public service role. An Office Assistant 2 in this position gains a broad knowledge of all internal processes, and many of other County offices. The position is the 2nd level in a series of 4 tiers, providing for ample opportunity for upward movement.
