Senior Marketing Manager eCommerce

Reporting to the Head of Commerce, Marketing & Brands, you will work with Pilgrims Leadership to shape the strategic vision of Pilgrims Commerce business across the organization. You’ll bring a sense of urgency to evolving our Commerce business and drive the P&L. You will develop and lead the strategy for Commerce growth and be a thought-leader, externally focused in understanding the general consumer and retailer/eTail trends impacting the business. You will collaborate with other functional areas including sales, supply chain, technology, and agency partners to ensure that the necessary actions occur in support of the Commerce business. As a firm champion of the business, putting the consumer first, you will do the following:

• Oversee strategy and Commerce related activities including: digital marketing, digital shelf product representation, web merchandising, program/offer testing, proprietary content generation, user generated content, online promotions/offers and new media/technologies
• Develop channel-specific growth plans consistent with the overall Commerce strategy and enterprise-level priorities
• Manage Commerce channel P&L against pre-set goals by the BU; including annual budget for marketing/promotional activities
• Business management experience in sales, marketing, and/or operations, and the ability to influence others and drive significant organizational and process changes
• Foster the growth of retailer relationships through knowledge sharing, joint planning and finding opportunities to test, learn and grow Commerce together. Understand customers’ unique business models and establish a growth plan that leverages the unique aspects of those different models.
• Enhance Pilgrims Commerce capabilities by keeping abreast of industry news, technologies, trends and opportunities and ultimately inspire and educate internal teams, agency partners and retailers
• In partnership with Insights Teams, lead the development and implementation of measurement practices for Commerce performance (sales, digital shelf integrity, performance marketing, etc.). Leverage data to drive new ideas and optimize top-line growth and profitability
• Develop and grow Commerce marketing team

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing or related fields)
• Critical intrapreneurial mindset and skills, proven ability to integrate with Sales / Operations teams
• 7+ years of digital marketing experience (performance marketing, search, online advertising, social) with a minimum of 4+ years of eTail management experience required
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Business leader with a commitment to results and ability to see the big picture as it relates to Pilgrims business overall and Commerce specifically
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and best practices, including those related to eTail management, digital marketing and eCommerce operations
• Experience with selling products as vendor via Amazon, Kroger, Walmart & Instacart is preferred
• Proven business planning and P&L management experience
• Ability to coach and successfully lead and manage a team
• Demonstrated strength in communication and influencing skills; not only written and verbal, but also in the engagement of internal and external business partners
• Solid financial acumen and analytic ability
• Aptitude for problem solving/quick learning
• Positive attitude and high level of energy
• Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range of $121,000 to $135,000; and
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
