Pinterest Hiring for Content Quality Project Manager (Contractor) at Remote Full Time

We’re looking for a Content Quality Project Manager to help us deliver an exceptional Pinterest user experience to Pinners, Creators, Shoppers and Merchants around the world. We are looking for a team-player to work on different projects pertaining to our content quality efforts, working closely with Product, Engineering, and vendors.

This is a 6-month contract. The role is remote, with all meetings conducted via VC. Home internet and an adequate work station will be the responsibility of the contractor. Easy access to the Bay Area is a nice to have should offices reopen in SOMA. PST timezone preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Drive content quality projects from inception to delivery, including managing requests to vendor teams, reporting progress, stakeholder engagement, and resolving roadblocks.
• Track and report progress on content quality projects on a recurring basis. Managing reporting, repeat queries/measurement for various efforts in support of OKRs and clearly and regularly communicating project status.
• Forecast content quality requests and support the management of vendor workload accordingly.
• Host weekly meetings with labeling vendors, track progress and solve roadblocks and issues.
• Write/Review labeling training guidelines, launch labeling jobs, review labeling task templates.
• A flexible operator used to working in a tech environment – being just as comfortable working with a backend engineer as with a marketer or member of our legal team.
• Influence and advocate for scale : using your high empathy for global use cases and experiences to help identify new opportunities or problems in a market(s); assessing and building the case for this to be worked on; relationship building and finding ways to get the international perspective front of mind for OKR planning and for product and engineering teams.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of project/program management experience.
• A background managing vendors, ideally for content evaluation or moderation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and strong ability to work cross-functionally.
• Able to relay engineering updates to non-engineers.
• Top notch documentation skills and comfortable hosting and facilitating regular meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to represent and draw conclusions from data; SQL experience is a definite plus.
• Understanding of precision and recall.
• Proficient with Excel, G Suite (Google docs, sheets and slides).
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment, with unexpected problems or a new responsibility to take on or relationship to forge around the corner at all times.
• Past experience in hands-on content moderation or eval is a plus.
• Active Pinterest user with a strong interest in our product.
• Foreign language a plus.
