PlaceMakers Looking for Assistant Accountant- National Office at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time
Dynamic role supporting our National Office Accounting team based in Penrose as an Assistant Accountant.

The Role:
Based at
National Office in Penrose, we now have a position available for experienced Assistant Accountant to support the Senior Accountant in all aspects of accounting services. On a day to day basis, you will handle basic accounting duties such as preparing financial records and reports, managing staff credit cards, preparing customers and suppliers rebate, assisting in maintaining fixed assets register, reconciling bank statements, carrying out office administrative tasks and maintaining documents and records to ensure all files are kept up to date.
About You:
With strong problem-solving capability and exceptional attention to detail, you have a can do attitude, your tech savvy and you’ve gained a minimum of 2 years’ experience within accounting processes along with having good exposure to accounting packages/ERP systems, of which JDE would be an advantage. You also demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with team members in remote locations and your communication skills will be right up there along with your Excel capabilities, both of which you will consider a strength.
