Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.
This is a key management position responsible for preparation, coordination, developing and executing expeditionary work across the firm from Divisions and to field tasks worldwide. This strategic role will leverage the full capabilities of the organization to ensure that the firm is the premier partner and preferred supplier for key clients in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for various worldwide expeditionary and humanitarian response engineering-related vehicles (USA LOGCAP, USAF AFCAP, DOS DIPPs, NAVFAC GCC, NAVFAC GSC…) and Humanitarian related technical support responses.
Attend and participate in the kickoff, monthly meetings and evaluate contract execution.
Discuss needed process or communication improvements.
Formulate client strategies and implement approaches that will successfully execute projects.
Serve as the client’s main point of contact for contract & program management and as needed, issues with Contractor personnel.
Manage the project team in higher-level discussions on technical management, transaction execution process, project flow, etc.
Responsible for delivering complex, divergent engineering solutions in conflict locations around the world.
Provide status updates in strategic/tactical planning meetings with clients, local, state, and federal agency partners.
Provide project draft responses to stakeholder inquiries on recurring project status updates.
Provide quality and safety oversight of transaction support.
Perform other duties tasked to ensure successful execution of transaction packages Perform overall leadership and initial condition scene settings while being initially available to be on client site until relieved by the firm.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
At least a Bachelor of Engineering in a USA ABET accredited program
Miliary engineering experience with preference for retired military engineer PE
Requires strong leadership and people management skills.
Ready to work with international and multi-culture discipline.
Ready to travel in difficult locations around the world (if required).
Secret clearance eligible
Team-player and highly organized.
Strong personal readiness skills (physical, mental, social, emotional, financial fitness)
