Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa – Playcentre Aotearoa is a well known and loved Early Childhood organisation with over 80 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play. Playcentre operates over 400 Playcentres throughout the country.

This is a permanent position based at our National Office in central Porirua – conveniently close to the train station and the mall!

Days & Hours

Monday – Friday for 30 – 40 hours a week, this is negotiable. This is a permanent position.

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Processing of vendor invoices and expense claims for payment
• Reconciliation of credit card claims
• Managing approvals
• Providing reliable month end reports

Desired Skills and Experience: 

• Experience using finance system software
• Some familiarity with double-entry book keeping
• Honesty, discretion, sensitivity, self-discipline and resilience 
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and computer literacy
• Organised – excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
