JOB SUMMARY

The Foundational Community Support (FCS) Data Entry Assistant contributes to the mission of Plymouth Housing by maintaining data entry integrity and reconciliation of confidential tenant information into several tenant information database systems as related to the FCS program at Plymouth Housing. This position provides outstanding customer service through the delivery of quality, timely and accurate information while also ensuring the highest compliance standards. The FCS Data Entry Assistant reports to the Program Data Manager and works closely with the Healthcare Integration Manager.

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Enter confidential tenant data into the AGENCY database system from reports drawn out of Plymouth’s tenant database and other sources related to client FCS eligibility determination.
• Enter confidential tenant-based FCS Medicaid claims in to the Availity database system and track the progress of each tenant claim filed though the payment or denial process.
• Assist the HealthCare Integration Manager with reconciliation of claims in the Availity database system and Plymouth Accounting Department.
• Track FCS enrollments regularly and inform related staff of expiring enrollments.
• Prepare FCS enrollment packets for new tenants as well as for re-enrollment purposes and distribute to appropriate property or services staff for completion.
• Ensure data accuracy by regularly checking data and correcting errors in a timely manner.
• Comply with data integrity, organizational policies, and procedures.
• Manage time and prioritize duties to complete work when due.
• Maintain good working relationships with staff involved in all aspects of internal data entry system.
• Assist HealthCare Integration Manager and Program Data Manager with data requests and report preparation. Some projects include policy work, demographic dashboards, and tenant surveys. Check completed work for accuracy.

Performs other related job functions as assigned by the Program Data Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

(Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience):

Education: High school diploma, GED certificate or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience: One (1) year successful experience in database entry administration, basic computer programs, including Excel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with customized databases and technology, such as Homeless Management Information system (HMIS), AGENCY and Availity.
• Ability to take direction, work independently, and proactively.
• Detail oriented; accurate; well organized; productive; able to meet deadlines in a professional manner.
• Ability to be flexible, supportive and to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of tenant and organizational information.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Non-Profit Experience is desired.
• Previous medical billing experience.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Plymouth Housing employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
