This is an entry-level career position and we are looking for a Proposal and Business Development (BD) Coordinator I who is passionate and intrigued by the architecture, engineering and the life sciences industry. The ability to successfully handle multiple projects, operational tasks and creatively deliver for clients (internally and externally) as a collaborative colleague is necessary for this role. The Proposal and (BD) Coordinator I will be mentored by the Business Development, Operations and Marketing team as well as get exposure to different sides of the business.

Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and other Life Science facilities – from feasibility through to construction – for both local and international clients. Together with our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.

:
- Coordinate the full lifecycle proposal efforts
- Support BD efforts such as pre-qualification packages, bid/interview preparation, events, etc.
- Assist with management of the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, account and contact databases
- Support BD events such presentations and trade shows
- Work with the leadership team to plan and coordinate special events and public relations activities
- Support the development of office marketing and communications plans in coordination with corporate marketing
- Coordinate the planning and strategy of local marketing campaigns (internally and externally)
- Support traditional and digital marketing activities such as:
- Marketing materials for both internal and external use
- Content for social media using digital tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Communication campaigns
- For marketing campaigns, track and report on marketing analytics, analyze impact and implement strategic corrective actions
- Get involved with and support other company initiatives, such as D&I, The Women’s Network, Health & Wellness, etc.
- Special projects as assigned
:
- A Bachelor’s degree (a Business, Marketing or Communication degree is a plus)
- 0-2 Years of proposal and BD coordination related work experience
- Strong research and documentation skills
- Database experience with an understanding of data entry and document management
- Excellent communication skills – strong writing skills
- Highly organized and adaptable multitasker
- High energy, positive with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Enthusiasm for learning and building relationships
- Understanding of traditional and digital marketing practices
- Ability to create designs in Adobe creative cloud (I.e.: Photoshop, Illustrator and or/ Canva) is a plus
- Previous experience working in the Architecture, Design or Construction industry is a big plus
