Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Technician at Point One Designers Ltd in Manukau. The Architectural Technician will be responsible for technical drawing, construction drawings, and computer-aided design (ArchiCAD). Other day-to-day tasks include preparing building consent documentation, liaising with clients, and support to the project managers.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architectural Technology and Architecture
• Proficient in Technical Drawing, Construction Drawings and Computer-Aided Design (ArchiCAD)
• Ability to use drafting software, specifically AutoCAD and ArchiCAD
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field
• Previous experience in the architectural, engineering or construction industry is highly desirable
