Overview:

Pointe-Claire Steel Inc. is a steel service centre that specializes in the processing, storage, and distribution of flat rolled steel products. Servicing markets primarily in Ontario and Quebec, we have production facilities in Bolton, ON and Pointe-Claire, QC.

The ideal candidate is someone that excels in a team environment and has a positive attitude. The office administrator will perform general office duties that will assist the production, logistics, finance, and sales teams as required. We are looking for a motivated, honest, and hardworking individual who can bring value to our team.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Enter customer orders and perform admin duties to ensure that production of orders runs smoothly

· Order production materials as necessary

· Process and review customer invoices

· Serve as a back-up for various other production roles

· Perform general office duties to assist the production team as required

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

· Intermediate level for Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Strong written and verbal communicator

· Well organized and high attention to detail

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to changing priorities

· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

· Experience in steel industry is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year
