Porter Airlines Inc. Hiring For Safety Coordinator at Toronto, ON Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviews safety data for the purpose of extracting patterns predictive of hazards and files regular reports with mandatory data-sharing programs;
• Provides guidance to departmental safety investigators regarding the progress and completion of investigations, analyses, implementation of corrective action, and audit processes;
• Provides administrative support of the SMS reporting system including the tracking of timelines relevant to the treatment of SMS reports;
• Participates in the corporate emergency response program;
• Maintains records of all training offered by the Safety Department;
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary academic training in aviation safety management and/or predictive analytics
• Excellent working knowledge of Transport Canada requirements for a safety management system
• Familiarity with commercial flight operations and/or aircraft maintenance operations
• Prior experience in the conduct of investigation, root cause and trend analysis
• Experience in the development, implementation and promotion of quality management, quality assurance and risk management programs
• Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills; keen attention to detail
• Ability to secure and maintain restricted airport security clearance
• Must maintain a valid passport and be able to travel when required.
