Join the Ports of Auckland Limited in this newly created, permanent full-time role as Continuous Improvement Specialist.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will play a key part in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives across the business. This will see you working in collaboration with our workforce, enabling the workforce to guide as to the methods, processes, and tools.
You will take on accountability for driving efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements through the application of a range of continuous improvement principles and methodologies. At the same time you will be driving a culture that involves our people in solving business problems.
Additionally, you will develop and entrench an effective and efficient continuous improvement methodology that draws on proven best practice practices and techniques, tailored specifically for POAL.

You will be known for your superb collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
For success, you will have fulfilled a similar role in which you utilised your deep knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools, including DMAIC, process mapping, value stream analysis, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis.
