The successful candidate will be able to independently manage the books and records for the office.
Key Responsibilities:
– Independently control and report on the general ledger
– Prepare and record journal entries
– Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable
– Preparation of all payroll functions for submission to ADP
– Preparation of various reports and government filings such as HST, EHT, WSIB
– Reconcile bank and various accounts
– Manage employee benefit program
– Other tasks of an administrative and secretarial nature
Background/Qualifications:
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position
– Post secondary education in accounting
– Strong computer skills, including full capabilities in Quickbooks and Excel
– Ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage various workload demands
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
