Power Plant Grill Looking for Dishwasher at Stony Plain, AB Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our kitchen team. He or she will be responsible for providing fast and effective cleaning of all kitchen utensils, dishware, glassware and pots, and maintaining the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times. Kitchen Prep of food also required. Chopping vegetables etc.

Responsibilities:

• Use proper chemicals to sanitize items, and always follow WHMIS guidelines;
• Wash all pots, pans, inserts, etc. and clean kitchen equipment as per cleaning schedule;
• Keep the kitchen area floors swept, cleaned and washed at all times;
• Assist with prep work under direction and supervision of a qualified cook;
• Clean and organize all related work equipment and areas;
• Keep sanitation solution up to company codes and rules at all times;
• Set up dish machine in the AM and closes down machine in the PM according to procedures;
• Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and rules;
• Perform other related duties as required by the Executive Chef / Sous Chef.

Qualifications:

• Energetic, flexible, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity;
• Food prep skills, chopping vegetables, making meat sauce, gravy etc.
• Professional demeanor;
• Efficient, effective, work well under pressure, independently and as a member of a team;
• Able to perform well in a fast -paced work environment;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.50 per hour
