Description

A Data Entry compiles and verifies data to ensure accuracy while appropriately formatting it. This includes preparing documents for entry and transcribing from paper formats into computer files using manual entry or scanners

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $26.79

Key Responsibilities

• Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
• Scan documents and print files, when needed
• Keep information confidential
• Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
• Experience with MS Office and data programs
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Requirements

• Knowledge of Quality methods e.g. documentation management, training, review or inspection, statistical sampling, internal/external audit, troubleshooting, investigation or analysis tools/techniques
• Accurately document the results of the inspections, testing, and material traceability
• Report relevant findings to Quality Engineer and upper management on consistent basis
• Previous quality inspection experience
• Must be able to be proficient with computers
• Originate and maintain required records and logs.

• Must have excellent (written and verbal communication skills)
• Must be detail-oriented
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one given time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work in order to accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
• Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management, engineers, QA and production personnel, in person and through email
