Housekeepers in Enliven homes don’t only dust, clean and mop floors, they play a vital role in the smooth running of a care home. The health and safety of Enliven residents, staff and visitors often depend on the clean, safe environment provided by efficient and effective housekeepers.

You will be working on a 4 days on and 4 days off roster. When you shifts fall on Monday- Friday the hours will be 9:30am-1:30pm and on Saturday-Sunday the hours will be 8am-2pm. A full orientation will be given.

Key Responsibilities: General housekeeping/cleaning of resident bedrooms, showers, toilets

About You

• Be able to work unsupervised
• Be honest, reliable, enthusiastic
• Have a great deal of common sense and communication skills
• Have time management skills and an ability to respond changing circumstances
• Enjoy working with a busy team supporting older people.

About Us

An Enliven home, Taieri Court has 33 residents who are supported at rest home level. It is one of eight Enliven care homes at Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) and is a home integral to the community. PSO is a highly respected, not for profit provider of aged care and social services in Otago. We have over 800 staff, 500 volunteers, and together we serve hundreds of clients and residents. We are a passionate team, motivated by our care for others.
