Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Reports to: Executive Director
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Part time: Less than 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 2:00 pm
Job Overview:
Data Entry Specialists will collect, manage, and distribute patient information, in compliance with and adhering to HIPAA requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Contact patients who have scheduled testing to remind them of their appointments, and give directions to the facility if needed. Most contact is via SMS (text) messaging.???
- Enter patient information on the patient database: testing dates, test types, accession numbers, patient insurance information, test results, and test lot numbers.
- Enter patient information including test results onto lab reports, and send the lab reports to patients.
- Upload patient test results to ECLRS via the Health Commerce System.
