The Role
The Accounting & Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering telephone calls and emails, performing Accounts Receivable tasks (daily invoicing, credit card processing, freight calculations, and collections on overdue accounts), maintaining literature (both digital and print), and any additional administrative projects assigned by the General Manager.
There is an opportunity for advancement in this position. Our part-time Accounts Payable Representative is planning to retire in the next year, and we are seeking an individual who is interested in taking on the Accounts Payable role in mid-2022.
Who We Are
Primary Fluid Systems Inc. is a small business located in Burlington, Ontario. We manufacture and sell metering pump accessories for use in the water & wastewater treatment industries, as well as oil & gas. We sell locally and internationally, with regular shipments to the U.S., Australia, and U.A.E.
The position is full-time at 40 hours a week. Our office is open Monday through Fridays, 8:00am until 4:30pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch. We are closed between Christmas and New Years every year and have recently instituted a short summer break between Canada Day and American Independence Day.
