The Insurance Associate will provide escrow customer support by responding to written and verbal customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and corresponding with customers, agents, insurance carriers and department team members to ensure insurance policies are current, accurate, without lapse and provide adequate coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Makes outbound insurance calls to borrowers, agents, and insurance carriers, requesting copies of renewals for accounts presented on the tickler
- Ensures customer insurance policies are current and active, having appropriate coverage without lapse
- Changes mortgagee clauses, audits new accounts, and monitors mortgagee clause reports
- Matches check batch printouts to customer bills and ensures insurance checks are sent to agencies and carriers on a daily basis
- Monitors tickler report daily, corresponding call schedules with escrow associates
- · Calls insurance agencies for renewals, research issues, and modifies insurance accounts according to bills received
Qualifications:
- Mortgage related experience is helpful but not required
- Organization skills
- Customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
