We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Public Health Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and state public health requirements and immunization programs. This role will play a crucial part in helping to design, implement, and evaluate immunization strategies to improve public health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert on federal and state public health requirements and immunization programs.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with federal, state, and local health agencies, community organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Analyze and interpret complex public health data and trends to identify areas of focus, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement in immunization programs.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to state and local health departments and partners on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of immunization programs and strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based immunization interventions that improve public health outcomes.
Develop and deliver training, presentations, and educational materials on immunization programs and strategies to various audiences.
Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in immunization and public health.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission and goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health, with a focus on immunization programs and federal and state public health requirements.
Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of public health, particularly as they relate to immunization programs and policies.
Experience working with federal, state, and local health departments and other public health partners.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
