Job Posting Title Senior Director Clinical Program DevelopmentJob Description This Senior Director of Clinical Program Development is responsible for the development and execution of the drug management strategy for their designated clinical product domain (i.e. Utilization Management, Formulary, Concurrent and Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (DUR)). The Senior Director drives a cross-functional collaboration and oversees the execution of objectives within their clinical product domain. This position may align activities around multiple lines of business (MedD, Medicaid, Health Insurance Marketplace, Commercial) for their clinical domain. This role is responsible for the product management of Prime’s National Formulary Strategy. This will include accountabilities for the product management of our NetResults formulary and all aspects of related trend management, performance, competitiveness and efficiencies – supporting our product, marketing and front office account and clinical teams. Responsibilities Lead vision & strategy for respective clinical domain and oversee the management and operations of clinical products Represent the domain in partnership with key internal stakeholders to support client communications and initiatives Ensure business initiatives are appropriately staffed and executed through effective oversight of department leadership Monitor the performance of products within designated clinical domain and oversee implementation of continuous quality improvement plans to ensure the outcome reduces cost, improves clinical quality and assures regulatory compliance In collaboration with Clinical Programs Directors and other stakeholders, oversee the implementation of new clinical programs and clients within designated clinical product domain; maintain and ensure compliance with client delegation or service agreements specific to clinical products through all implementation efforts Ensure all business processes within clinical domain are compliant with accreditation standards (NCQA, URAC) and federal and state regulations that impact clinical products and initiatives Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located 10 years of related clinical experience developing drug management strategy and/or managing clinical product functions 7 years of management/people leadership experience Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to a wide range of audiences Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and at all levels within an organization Ability to think critically and anticipate the broad impact of decisions Demonstrated ability to lead projects from ideation to completion Preferred Qualifications Advanced certification, training, or accolades in related field of study Experience working within a matrix environment Previous PBM experience Previous experience leading a large department or function Minimum Physical Job Requirements Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Reporting Structure Report to VP i
