Primrose School of Marysville Hiring for Evening Administrative Assistant Job at Marysville, OH Full Time

A local Primrose School is searching for an afternoon Administrative Assistant to join our energetic, fun-loving team. This position reports to the Director, and supports the management team in providing a safe, happy, educational and nurturing environment. We serve ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Prior administrative or office experience is a plus, as is at least one year early childhood classroom teaching experience. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Answer phones and inquiry calls
• Conduct tours if needed
• Present a professional image and tone at all times
• Act as a happy, enthusiastic greeter for parents and children as well as service/delivery providers who enter our school
• Form positive and impactful relationships with parents and children; know names and preferences/needs of families and children
• Scheduling interviews
• Supporting classroom teachers with classroom help if needed and answering classroom intercom codes as needed
• Sending professional emails and communications to parents, as requested and with guidance from director
• Other administrative duties as assigned including event planning and organization

Ideal candidate is a very flexible team player with a perpetual smile and is willing to work until 6:15pm Monday through Friday, plus periodic extra events and hours as needed. Hours are negotiable with minimum hours being 3-6:15 pm Monday through Friday. Additional and full-time hours available if desired for an applicant willing to spend time in classrooms as needed.
