An industry leader in telecommunication construction is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join their team! They have an immediate need for an Accounting Clerk with prior experience in accounting functions, preferably in the construction industry. The?Accounting Clerk will provide accounts payable and receivable support for the Finance Department under the supervision of the Controller. The candidate must be a team player and thrive in fast-paced work environments. Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Sorts documents by account name or number and processes invoices for payment
• Posts transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Prepare and review daily and monthly financial reports
• Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Record ACH transactions at the bank subject to Assistant Controller / CFO approval
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions
• Monitor and analyze the transactional workload of the company to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Supports Controller and CFO with various duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Required:

• 2-4 years of experience in various accounting positions (preferably in the construction industry)
• Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Very detailed, organized, efficient, and accurate
• Excellent communications skills (there will be occasional to interface with customers and vendors)
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
• PC proficient; Excellent skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
• Able to maintain the highest level of personal integrity, present professionally, and be self-driven to do what it takes to be successful
