We are looking for detailed oriented, cloud proficient engineer to join our cloud operation DevOps team. Under this role, you will work and support the departments other engineers. Responsibilities include working with AWS services, Ci/CD, migration, security, architecture and databases.
What you will be doing:
Provide basic level design and operational practices for AWS
Own critical aspects of our technology operations in areas including Production, deployment process automation, monitoring, and security
Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks, standards, and overall IT cloud strategy
Provide training on various cloud security and cloud technologies and mentor engineers on these topics
Create and maintain build scripts, templates, and other artifacts for the Infrastructure stack
Support Continuous Integration (CI), and ensure adherence to CI/CD principles
Support the migration of applications to the cloud infrastructure and assist in the analysis, tuning, and re-architecture when necessary to ensure adherence to business requirements
We are looking for someone with:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent experience
Previous hands-on on-premise to cloud migration experience
A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in Cloud Solution design, installation, and configuration of Cloud Automation tools
In-depth knowledge of AWS Services
Demonstrated experience with the next generation AWS security stack.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AWS Identity & Access Management services and the integration of 3rd party solutions with these systems. A thorough understanding of AWS Organizations best practices related to security and governance across multiple accounts is required.
Experience deploying cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform or Cloud Formation, CDK) and a commitment to the following Infrastructure as Code practices in day-to-day operation.
Experience with databases (e.g., RDS/DynamoDB) and associated data pipelines.
Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD (e.g., Github Actions/CircleCi) tools and Database migrations
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
$51000 – $98400 / year
Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
