Apply today to be a Plate Maker with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Plate Maker for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX.
Job Requirements:
- Compiling information, following written and logical instructions to operate a plate making system
- Monitoring and managing plate activities to provide plates to meet the needs of the press department
- Understanding and completing accurate job search activities
- Operating and troubleshooting making equipment
- Proof reading printed material, checking one design or pattern against another, and checking documentation for accuracy
- Using a calculator to calculate (decimals, %, fractions) without a machine, and calculating (+,-, x, division) without a machine
- Using a micrometer, reading meters, dials or calibrated scales, and using a rule or other physical measuring instrument
