Private Advertiser Looking for Mixer/Blender operator at Mount Wellington, Auckland Full Time

Our business involves the importation and distribution and manufacture of a wide range of food products to both wholesale and retail customers.  We are seeking an experienced Blender to join our team. The key function of this role will be assisting with efficient running of production & packing operations for our production facility. This role is from 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

The Role:

We’re looking for people who have:

• Experience in food/FMCG production/manufacturing specifically mixing or blending.
• Reliable transport to get to work.
• Ensure team leader is informed of all production-related issues as they happen.
• Carry out all operating and line cleaning activities.
• Ensure production records are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure downtime is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate with team members, QA and other relevant parties to ensure the production schedule is followed and product is ready to supply.
• Provide support to other team members as required so production won’t delay.
• Always follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg

Requirements:

• Capable of producing specific products such as jelly blends, baking powder, custard powder, dried potato blends and spice blends.
• Can manage jobs in accordance with allergen management procedures
• Quality awareness – experience around what to look out for in terms of making sure every product is of a high quality before leaving the facility.
