The Front Desk Assistant is responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitate an exceptional patient experience as well as administrative support for the practice.
Responsibilities include:
· Answering phones in a manner that demonstrates courtesy, service, respect, and privacy
· Serves as a communication source in the delivery of patient care and being responsive and accessible
· Provides accurate information and/or guidance and follows up promptly to ensure all needs have been met
· Schedules, cancels, and reschedules appointments making every effort to accommodate both patient and provider needs
· Obtains and reviews patient insurance information
· Obtains and enters referrals
Required Qualifications:
· College Degree and/or previous experience preferred
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Friendly and experienced in working with people
· Ability to multitask and juggle competing demands, so patient and provider needs are met
