The person hired for this position will inspect the finished product being produced on a paper lawn & leaf bag machine for conformance to established standards. Additionally, they will assist the Machine Operator in starting up the machine and maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Specifically:

• Assist the Machine Operator in maintaining a clean and safe work area and comply with all company safety policies.
• Continuously lift 2-8 lbs. of finished product and place in a corrugated shipping case.
• Perform and established set of periodic inspections of the finished product for adherence to standards.
• Notify the Machine Operator of any definite or potential non-conformance issues.
• Assist the Operator’s Assistant assemble and label corrugated shipping cases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to read and write English at a 10th grade level.

2. Ability to stand in one area for periods up to 60 minutes.

3. Ability to lift 2-8 lbs. continuously and up to 30 lbs. occasionally.

4. Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
