Overview

Probst Electric is looking for a part-time Office Admin to support our Human Resources team. This person will report to the HR Manager and focus on onboarding, employee relations, and benefits.

Overview

• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems.
• Assist with the onboarding process, creating a positive experience for new employees.
• Assist with processing benefits transactions for new hires, terminations, qualifying events, and open enrollment into the system and vendor portals as required.
• Keep employee records up to date.
• Assist with processing payroll.
• Perform general HR tasks; assist with ad-hoc projects and programs that contribute to increasing the effectiveness of the team.
• Maintain legal compliance.

Requirements

• Data entry: Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and other associated software
• Strong computer skills
• Analytical problem solving
• Excellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammar
• Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
• Prior accounting/administrative experience a plus
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)
