Due to rapid growth, we are seeking an administrative assistant for project-based assignments. Approximately 75% of the work can be completed remotely and 25% onsite in North Central Indiana project locations. This is an hourly position with an anticipated approximately 20 hours/week.
The right candidate will be detail oriented, extremely organized and would assist the business owner with various projects, including document preparation, reports, presentations using primarily the MS Office Suite and creating surveys in Survey Monkey. Onsite work would include notetaking, registration, clean up and tear down of training rooms.
Projects could include:
· Creating PowerPoint presentations
· Creating documents in Word – often using tables
· Organizing thoughts and ideas into a complete, coherent document
· Creating proposals
· Proofreading documents
· Researching various programs on Internet
· Creating surveys in survey monkey platform
· Assisting onsite at trainings and events – notetaking, registrations.
· Possibly calling on community members/leaders to ask questions, gain their opinions, reminders, etc.
Needed Skills include:
· Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Detailed oriented
· Meets deadlines
· Able to proofread documents and prepare projects at a professional level
Other skills that are helpful but not required:
· Graphic Design – can make a document look attractive, either in Word or more advanced graphic design software
· Bookkeeping – Familiar with QuickBooks or has experience in bookkeeping processes
Ideally, this person has the following characteristics:

· Good listener
· A good communicator – not afraid to speak up and ask questions until assignment is clear
· Understands business, appreciates the changing environment of a growing business
· Has some interest in what the company does –helping communities solve problems and grow
· Must have own computer with MS Office and a reliable internet connection
· Lives within 60 miles of Kokomo, Indiana.
