Our client is a national education charity, dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement. To do this, they summarise best available evidence in to plain language for busy, time-poor teachers and senior leaders, generating new evidence of ‘what works’ and what doesn’t work in order to improve teaching and learning, and support teachers and senior leaders across the country to use this evidence to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.
Our client is now recruiting for two Education Programme Development Leads, to identify, develop and support with a range of schools-based pilot projects, aimed to support teachers and senior leaders with evidence-based resources designed to improve practice and boost learning.
As Education Programme Development Lead you will focus on leading the day to day design and set up of early pipeline development projects across a range of research schools. You will support with the recruitment and engagement of research schools with initial feasibility testing, and will provide advice, support and ongoing relationship management to school teams in the design of intervention/implementation packages and feedback cycles. This is a new area of work with significant time pressure and delivery expectations and a great opportunity for development.
To apply for this role, you will be an experienced project manager, with an in-depth understanding of the education landscape and the school system. You will be skilled at designing and implementing a range of education-related projects for evaluative purposes, and will have the ability to articulate the role of evidence in driving improvements in pupil attainment.
