Excellent full-time (9-5) entry-level position in a busy prosthetics & orthotics facility in East Setauket.

• Experience working in an office environment
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks
• DME experience is a plus.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Entering/scanning patient information into computer, data entry
• Contacting doctors and other medical professionals to get necessary paperwork and patient information
• Generating orders for new patients
• Assisting the receptionist in answering phones and setting up practitioners to see patients
• Running reports
• Directing the flow of patient charts
• Determine proper ICD-10 codes using various resources
