Assistant Nurse Manager – Pediatric Emergency Services to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week on evening shift.

Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) assists the Nurse Manager as a member of the unit managerial team in providing continuity of operational management (including staffing and scheduling), and patient care management of a specified unit/service. The ANM is a Registered Nurse who has successfully completed the unit and department nursing competencies with a comprehensive understanding and competent skill level in patient care principles, and evaluation of work performance in order to assure effective behavior in this leadership role.

Required qualifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington

• Acceptable references from former employer(s)

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Two (2) years experience as RN, with one year in the specialty

• Prior nursing management experience
