The Spec-Peer Specialists will be an essential part of day -to – day operations of the Olympia Community Care Center (PCCC) and PCCC Behavioral Health team. Provides face to face and community collaborative support to adults experiencing homelessness in Thurston County. Connects people served with available community social service options while promoting the use of natural supports and existing community relationships.

Required qualifications:

• 1 year Providing peer support services.

• 1 year Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to complete documentation in a timely manner.

• Required upon hire: Current THW certification in the state of Washington as a peer in Peer support specialist, Peer wellness specialist, Family support specialist, Family wellness specialist, or Youth support or wellness specialist (Maintenance of certification through continuing education hours as outlined by the state of Washington)

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year Experience working with patients with chronic, acute and contingent crisis.
